WHAT IS USHER SYNDROME ?
Rare genetic disease that affects both hearing and vision. It causes deafness or hearing loss and an eye disease called Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) which cause a :
Degenerative vision
Diminution of night vision
Lost of daytime vision
Extrem photosensibility
This is the most frequent cause of double oculo-auditory impairment.

We are first of all a foundation created with the aim of raising awareness & helping medical research related to Usher Syndrome.
We were born after having proposed a unique project to the emblematic brand Giorgio Armani.
This project was created to give Benjamin the opportunity to explore as much as he can before his incurable retinitis pigmentosa takes his vision away.

With the aim to help him finding the cure of his disease, we have decided to set up a team of five friends to cross the Atlantic Ocean by sail which was one challenge that Benjamin's wanted to accomplish in his life.
